What about the EV6 GT or Ioniq 5 N’s 800V architecture?
The Kia EV6 GT and Ioniq 5 N have an 800-volt battery architecture — which sounds exotic but doesn’t change your home charging setup at all. The 800V system only matters for DC fast charging (350 kW public stations). At home, you’re still doing AC Level 2 at standard 240V, capped at 11 kW.
So any standard J-1772 home charger works perfectly. Don’t pay extra for "800V-compatible" branding — it’s marketing.
